Athlone under 12’s
played Tubberclair on Friday night the 26th October in a challenge match
in Athlone. Both teams played some very enjoyable football. Tubberclair
were the first to score with Athlone slow to settle into the game but
were still only a point down at half time.
Tubberclair were first to score in the second half with a quick point
before Athlone scored a goal. Both teams continued to exchange scores
for the next ten minutes but two late goals by Tubberclair left them winning
by 5 points.
