CONGRATULATIONS:

Congratulations to our under 12 footballers on winning the championship last week-end. Well done to all involved with the team.
Congratulations too to Ray Kelly who recently qualified as a commercial pilot with Aer Lingus. Ray was one of the most promising minor players that wore the blue and white of Athlone winning the Man of the Match award in the 1993 Minor final.Ray's brother Kevin, a member of our intermediate team has recently been called to the Garda Training College, Templemore. Both are sons of former Kildare and Leinster player Kevin and his wife Marie who played inter-county camogie for Kildare.We wish Ray and Kevin every success.

The club extends its deepest sympathy to the Byrne families, Clonbonny and Saggart, Dublin on their recent bereavement.
